Creativity and Storytelling

Becky is an expert tutor in writing, language, and storytelling. She specializes in life writing workshops that serve as a precursor for crucial self-awareness and powerful expression. She works with leaders who want to connect authentically, as well as teams who want to bond, explore, and re-ignite their creativity. Her work supports high-performing leaders and teams working with transition, challenge, conflict, as well as creativity, wellbeing, and resilience.

She completed a BA in English at DePaul University in Chicago, an MFA in Creative Writing at The New School in New York City, and a PhD from the University of Surrey in the UK. She is the founder of Own Your Life Writing, a not-for-profit organization focused on the transformational power of life writing and storytelling in community. Becky is the author of Stun, forthcoming from Tortoise Books in 2026.
